The spam posts seem to be made by bots. I don't remember if this site already uses captcha on signup, but it should if it doesn't.

Done way more cleaning that I thought it was possible in a single day.

Lots of spam and spamming users.

We need to ban fake accounts. And make it harder to sign up, maybe a mod need to approve new signups. This great forum will die if we dont do anything.

I agree... it took me days to clean Fantasy Discussion and now they put 17 pages of spam. This is a deliberate attack. I will try to clean tomorrow.

Annnddd... I just can't guys. These people create more posts than I am able to manually delete it. Worst is that the forum isn't very "delete message" friendly. I have to manually delete every one of them. And the SPAM attack is just too big for me.

Maybe if I get more powers (Admin maybe) I can find more tools that would help me to protect the site :(

You can bulk delete those posts.

Profile > Modify Profile > Look And Layout > Show quick-moderation as checkboxes

And yes we can make approvable accounts and close sign ups on moderation.

We took antispam measures,so nobody will just post spam now.
