Meredith always knew she wanted to be involved in basketball. Growing up, she was tall and athletic, and quickly gravitated towards the sport. She excelled in high school, earning a spot on the varsity team and leading her team to the state championships. She even received a full scholarship to play in college.
After a successful career as a professional athlete, Meredith found herself back in her hometown, settling down and starting a family. But she couldn't shake off her love for the game. When the opportunity to coach the high school basketball team came up, she jumped at the chance.
