"So, how do you like your job?" Denise asked Mike.
"It's okay," Mike replied. "But I'd rather be outdoors."
"I'm sure we can arrange that," Denise said, her voice sultry.
David clenched his jaw and gripped the steering wheel tighter, trying to ignore their flirting. He wanted to tell Mike to shut up, but he knew he wouldn't dare disobey his mom.
After another hour of driving, they finally arrived at the campsite. The place was beautiful, with lush forests and crystal-clear rivers. It was perfect for camping.
"Wow, this place looks amazing!" Mike said, looking out the window.
"It really is gorgeous, isn't it?" Denise agreed, smiling at Mike.
"Let's go check in," David said, wanting to get away from them.
They got out of the car and went inside the main cabin, which served as the office. The clerk was an elderly man, probably in his mid-50's.
He was short and portly, with thinning gray hair.
"Hello, welcome to Pine Tree Camp," the man said, smiling. "My name is George. Do you have a reservation?"
"Yes, I believe we do," David replied, reaching into his pocket.
He found his receipt and handed it to George, who examined it carefully.
"Hmm, I can't seem to find it," George said, frowning.
"What are you talking about? It's right there," David said, pointing at the paper.
"Well, either way, I'm sorry sir, but I don't see a reservation under that name," George said, shaking his head.
"That can't be right. I booked this trip months ago," David insisted.
"Well, if you give me just one minute, I'll check again. I apologize for the inconvenience," George said, handing the paper back to David.
David stood there awkwardly as George turned around and began rifling through paperwork.
"Maybe there's been a mix-up, and someone else got our spot," Denise suggested, her voice quiet.
"Yeah, maybe," David said, shrugging. "But then how do we know where to go?"
"I don't know..." Denise trailed off, looking worried.
George turned back to face them, a grim expression on his face. "I'm sorry, but it seems we're fully booked for this weekend. There's nothing I can do."
"This can't be happening," David groaned, rubbing his temples.
"Well, it is. And you'll just have to find somewhere else to stay," George said, gesturing towards the door.
"Come on guys, it's not that big of a deal. We can still have a good time," Mike chimed in.
Denise shook her head, disappointed. "No, it's not the same. We were going to make this a special trip, remember, honey?"
"Right, well I guess it doesn't matter now," David said, sighing.
"Why don't we just use tents and camp out in the wilderness?" Mike asked.
David rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Have you ever camped before? We'd freeze to death at night, and the mosquitoes would carry us off by sunrise. Plus we only have two small tents with us"
Denise shrugged her arms and said "I agree with Mike, we can make this work."
"What? Why?" David asked, shocked.
"If you want to experience the wilderness, then there's nothing better than doing it rough," Denise said, her voice firm. "Besides, it's only for two nights, right? We can make it work."
Mike grinned and nudged David. "Yeah man, it'll be an adventure," he said, laughing.
"I just want to take a relaxing camping trip with my mom and not worry about survival, is that too much to ask," David muttered, annoyed.
"Relax honey, we can handle it," Denise said, placing her hand on David's shoulder.
"Fine, it's your funeral," David said, defeated.
They grabbed their things and headed back outside to the car. As they walked, they noticed a sign posted to the cabin wall, advertising an empty room at the last second due to the recent cancellation. David looked at his mother pleadingly, but she ignored his gaze.
"You really want to live like savages and eat bugs with a cannibal named Jeff? After living a comfortable life with cable tv?" David asked.
"We're going to be eating s'mores, not bug juice, son. Now shut up and set up these tents, so we can start cooking" his mother said. "I've got plans for us later."
"Great, thanks for making this such an enjoyable experience," David grumbled sarcastically. "How could you possibly screw this up?"
With that, he walked away to begin unloading their supplies.
David and his mother sat on the ground, eating sandwiches as the sun dipped below the horizon. They had managed to get their tents up quickly, and Mike seemed content enough in his sleeping bag.
"This is nice, don't you think, honey?" Denise asked, smiling.
"Sure," David replied, noncommittal. He was tired and irritated, and the idea of spending another day with Mike made him cringe.
Just then, Mike appeared out of nowhere, holding a flashlight. "I'm going down to the river to catch fish. Wanna come with me?" he asked, grinning.
David shot Denise a look, but she waved her hand dismissively. "Go ahead, honey. I'll be fine here by myself," she said.
David reluctantly agreed, and he and Mike headed down to the river. They spent the next hour wading through the cold water, trying to catch fish. The only thing they managed to net, though, was frustration.
"I think we're wasting our time here," David said after nearly tripping over a submerged log for the fifth time. "The only way we're going to catch anything is if we sit very still and wait."
"Well, that's no fun," Mike protested, throwing his net back into the water.
"Whatever, let's just go back to the campsite. I'm exhausted," David said, walking back to land.
"You know, your mom was really nice about us crashing her camping trip," Mike said as he followed suit, grinning. "She must be one of those hippie moms who just loves nature and shit."
David didn't answer, but he felt an anger rise within himself as he imagined Mike and Denise alone in a tent together.
"You're sleeping in my tent, and if I find out you try spying on my mom in her sleep, I'm kicking your ass" David growled.
"Whatever, Oedipus" laughed Mike.
When they got back to camp, David saw that Denise had built a fire and was roasting marshmallows. She smiled warmly at them and held out her arms, embracing them in a group hug. "Oh good, you're back. I thought I was going to have to start the smores without you."
Denise's cleavage pushed against David and Mike as she squeezed them against her soft, round bosom.
Mike cleared his throat and pulled back first. "No problem. We were just hungry."
Denise took some sticks and skewered two marshmallows on them, handing them to David and Mike. "Here you go," she said, her voice as smooth as honey.
As they ate, they laughed and talked about funny stories from when they were kids. David watched Mike's reaction closely, trying to gauge if he was also attracted to Denise. He seemed to be enjoying her company, but David couldn't shake his paranoia that something might happen between the two of them while they slept in separate tents.
When they finished, Denise suggested that they play a game. She took out a deck of cards and proposed that whoever lost had to streak naked to the end of the trail that led back to the parking lot.
"This doesn't sound like a fair game," Mike complained. "We can't control how we stack cards, but you could rig this however you want to cheat."
"No cheating, I swear," Denise replied innocently, her expression betraying no deceit.
They played several rounds, each one more intense than the last. Finally, the winner became apparent—Denise.
David sighed and stood up, knowing that he would lose.
"Where are you going?" Denise asked.
"To change," David answered simply.
Mike looked at Denise suspiciously. "I guess we'll be seeing you soon," he said, laughing.
David went into his tent and quickly stripped down, taking his clothes off piece by piece until he was standing bare in front of his pile of discarded garments. He walked over to the entrance of his tent and poked his head out. Mike and Denise were sitting on stumps near the fire, talking quietly.
"Hey, what's taking so long?" Mike yelled.
"I'll be right out," David replied. He quickly stepped out of his tent, still completely nude, and ran down the path, leaving behind only his laughter as a parting gift.
"I can't believe you actually did it!" Denise shouted after him. "What a good sport."
Mike chuckled. "Yeah, good for him. You think anyone else would have gotten that far?"
"Not a chance," Denise said.
"Yeah, well I guess I owe you," David called out as he headed back. "You cheated somehow."
"There wasn't any cheating involved," Denise said, chuckling. "You're just a sore loser."
David dressed himself again, embarrassed yet proud to have completed the challenge.
"Alright, that was fun," he said as he returned. "Who's up for a swim?"
"Hell yeah!" Mike exclaimed.
They went to the river and stripped down again, diving in and splashing around for a few hours until the moon rose high in the sky. Denise sat on the shoreline and watched, laughing as the boys horsed around in the cool night air. When they were finished, they crawled out, shivering.
"That was great," Mike said as they dried themselves off.
"Yeah, it was," David agreed.
"You guys are amazing. I hope we can do this again sometime," Denise said, smiling widely.
"We will," Mike promised.
They changed into their dry clothes and walked back to their campsite, exhausted but satisfied. Denise yawned and stretched, her breasts bouncing gently.
"I think I'm gonna hit the sack," she said.
"How about some drinks first?" Mike asked.
