No problem guys.

Clutterbuck: I believe author's note is weighted heavier than is the memory box. The square brackets are for when you want the AI to have some information but you don't want it to read it like it's part of the story. It's a way to give the AI something like stage directions.

About Author's note and memory: So far I have put everything in memory, list of characters, plot points or synopsis, and style directions like that the story is told in the past tense, third person. But as I'm writing, it keeps getting confused about the relationship between the characters, which is the most annoying problem. Could I put the list of characters in the Author's Note instead, and then it wouldn't get so confused? And perhaps also the plot points, so it doesn't veer off in strange directions.

About square brackets: Do you use those "stage directions" in the Editor window? And are these directions only temporary?

Mostly I'm very impressed with how well it works, With some interactive writing, som editing in its responses, and frequent use of Retry, we get the story we want, and all in all it is a pretty fun process.

I have Kobold.AI installed on my laptop, but I haven't really used it in months. Turns out, low-end gaming laptops from 5 years ago are only marginally capable of running relatively simple AI models. So when I learned of Verb.AI back in the spring, that became my default AI writer. Its not perfect, it tends to move fast & is a bit uncomfortable with explicit descriptions. It still does sex scenes, but makes it more 'respectable'. Instead of 'getting fucked by his huge cock', it would probably spit out something like 'getting penetrated by his large manhood' but you can nudge it back towards explicit with rewrites. I've had a lot of fun creating an outline with ToolBaz & having Verb expand it tenfold. Verb has been having technical difficulties for the last couple days. Hopefully its up and running again soon.

Previously I tried used chiseleditor to write erotic short stories, it was pretty good. But after constant updates, it cannot even write the erotic stories. Such a bump. Any alternative?

As you have probably gathered, I don't have much AI experience, and no expert advice to offer. I discovered NovelAI, and I'm having so much fun working with it I see no reason to explorer further. It is a very interactive process, and like I said elsewhere, it's like having a collaborator with a really dirty mind.

Hopefully we'll see lots of great new stories here on BFMM as more writers get into this way of writing.

Does anybody know AI story generator tool similar to ToolBaz but with unlimited input?

There's a limit to the input? I've used some pretty long prompts (guessing 50+ words) without issue.

My story was complicated I guess, with more than 360+ words. I already shorten the sentences still I still want to put more to the story.

So does anyone know any tool similar to ToolBaz with even larger input?

360 words? Often as not that's about the size of the entire output for Toolbaz, at least in my experience.  You have to keep in mind that these things are essentially an advanced version of autocomplete. They can still only think so far ahead without guidance.

Have you considered writing an outline & using Verb or something to flesh it out, piece by piece?

360 words output only? in my experience, the output can be up to 700 or 800 something. I never reach 900 though.

For my usual writing I use combination of NovelAi and expand it with Verb.ai. my last finish story was up to 29k words.

What other Ai writing tool do you guys usually use?

try the gpt4all app. you can install it locally and run it with no internet if you want. free, open source and completely private. all the models are uncensored. it runs on cpu, designed for consumer-grade pc's

Thanks for letting me know about GPT4all app.

Do you know model is the best for NSFW? I tried Hermes, but too much repetitive.

Is there any tutorial on how to use it, because based on my experience It cannot take large input. If I put large input, only the several last sentences that used to make the output.

Thanks for letting us know about gpt4all but it looks kinda sketchy  :-\ I just don't trust any of the apps you install on your computer so I'll stick to novel ai.

Also you guys who have discord should check out Novel AI on there. https://discord.gg/novelai
Make sure to look into their presets too, I like adamantine, truthfully, wildcard, and 4chan's anon preset to go along with the pretty decent default ones. And also turn on dynamic range every once in a while to change up your stories.

Funny ... I consider web-based stuff to be intrinsically less trustworthy than a program running off my computer.

The 30b models work best for stories, the 13b models are mostly crap, including hermes. you can download models on hugging face and sideload them. the 30b uncensored wizard models are pretty good, there's others though. check their discord page for questions, prompt templates etc. it's NomicAI i think.

i think it's safe, i've had it for a while now and ive had no problems with it. The reason for its creation was to enable ppl to use llm's without needing to have 3090s or know python.
