You can get this for free with Amazon Kindle Unlimited, but I can't because it's not available in my country.

Chapter 2: The (First) Promotion Dinner
Andrew got the promotion.
I shouldn't have been surprised. Even though I should have been next in line, it was obvious after how the interviews went that he would get it. Still, the news hit me in the guts. I slunk back into my small office as the rest of the office crowded around him, congratulating him and sharing in a celebratory drink of champaign.
"That bastard," I whispered to myself as I heard everyone laughing at one of his jokes outside my office. He stabbed me in my back and had been stealing credit for all my extra work for weeks. As I sat there feeling sorry for myself, my office door opened. I looked down at my desk as Andrew walked in.
"So, I guess you heard the big news, eh?" He said with a big shit-eating grin. All I could do was meekly look down at my desk.
