Thanks clutterbuck52. I plan to to update the post very soon and continue where I left off.

Hey guys, so as the title suggests, I will be covering certain events which happened in 2012, something which I think a few of you will enjoy. Full warning, this is a true story from my side of things and as such I don't have all the "juicy details" and names have been changed to hide the identities of those involved. I must proclaim that English is not my first language so apologies for any spelling/grammar mistakes. Without further ado, let's begin.

In the summer of 2012, a few months after I turned 16, me and my family (my mother 38, dad 37, and two younger twin siblings 9) moved to the UK from Pakistan. Of course this was a massive change for all of us as the culture of the two countries are very different. We moved to an area which wasn't the most posh but was far from terrible (mainly populated by immigrants of eastern European descent). Of course now and then police would be called over but that was something we got used to very quickly, and apart from a few unsavoury characters, it was a nice place to call home.

Although the new environment took some getting used to on my part, everyone else, especially my mum got settled in very quickly. She would greet the neighbours, apply for jobs, invite guests over and so on. I on the other hand was finding it hard to make friends due to my anxiety of meeting new people and of course my broken English at the time didn't help, and therefore spent most of my time at home. But my mum took everything in her stride. She was Nafeesa,  the bright young pious conservative Muslim wife who is happy to lend a hand and greeted everyone with a smile.

This is where Kevin and his family comes in....

(I will edit this post over time as I am restricted by time to finish it once)
