It odes work locally but it doesn't accept NSFW content as far as I can tell. Also it is an " ecosystem of open-source chatbots" so I assume as long as somebody can share a bot trained in NSFW content it should work fine.

CHYOA has a problem from it's genesis, branching is encouraged and is a way to keep stories alive and add diversity so more people can enjoy and contribute to the story they like; You don't like how branch A is going? No problem, you have branch B to keep the content you like.
The problem with that is after a while the story get so many branching narratives that is impossible to keep track if the branch you are interested in is the one being updated (stories like Rulebook are a good example of that), the site could use some better handling of notifications.
That said, i think you should add different paths. The site is called Choose your own adventure for a reason, a strictly linear path end up being more frustrating then rewarding, sites like Literotica and Nifty are more fit for linear stories.
